I'm a Software Engineering student at Victoria University Kampala, building toward a career as a Software Architect in defence tech and network design.
My focus is secure systems: understanding how a request leaves a browser, crosses a network and lands on a server, and designing every step so it holds up under attack. I work on Linux, plan systems with Systems Analysis & Design (SAD), build and test networks in Cisco Packet Tracer, and use Wireshark to analyse traffic, with Python and database fundamentals for scripting and handling data.
I'm also interested in how this applies to law and legal systems in Uganda, and I write about it in my Legal Tech Uganda newsletter and short TikTok explainers. On the side, I run Nigel Tech Solutions and I'm a member of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PC-18158). I'm open to internships, junior roles, and collaborations in defence tech, networking, and legal tech.
Python, Networking, Linux and SAD: the tools I use to design, test and analyse secure systems.
Everything I build is published in my GitHub repositories.
View my GitHubMember, PC-18158. I care about using tech to solve real problems here in Uganda, not just abstract ones, and this keeps me connected to that on the ground.
@PLUsecretariat →Chess sharpens the same muscle as debugging: reading a few moves ahead, and knowing when a position has already been lost.
An ongoing interest in logic and ethics, which shapes how I think about trade-offs when I'm designing a system, not just how to make it work.
A debut poetry collection, published under the name Senabulya Elijah, with a second book currently in progress.
